I’m 8Kg fatter than the last time I went out running and it has been about 4 months since I done any training. Time to get started again!!!
Over in Scotland at the moment, so got a lift into Bathgate with my Dad and ran back the “auld coach” road.
5Km in 27 mins, not exactly Olympic standard, but a start.

My brother actually did this one last year! He really enjoyed it (but he really enjoys all activities that involve running til you can run no more).
I was on a fishing holiday last year during this, so it was a lucky escape for me.
Are you going to enter this year? We’re not getting any younger… 😉

You weren’t on a fishing holiday during the Reykjavik marathon, your holiday was a week later during UTMB. You had no valid excuse!
Lovely marathon though, if a little windy on the home straight.
