My old thesis partner Jon and his girlfriend Elisabet visited me and Maria this weekend from Iceland. The four of us have been friends since Jon and I met at university in 2004, but we haven’t seen each other much over the last year as J and E have moved back to Iceland and are both doing very well in their new jobs.
It was a fantastic weekend and great to see them again. On Saturday, we went for dinner at Koh Phangan which is one of the best places to eat in Stockholm due to it’s laid back atmosphere and it’s amazing layout inside. It’s the only restaurant I know that has simulated tropical rainstorms while you are eating and has a river with huge goldfish flowing through the middle of the dining hall.
Afterwards we caught up with Johanna and friends at the Mosebacke terrace which was packed with people because of the good weather and drank a beer as the sun went down.
This was a great weekend spent with some of my favourite people who I haven’t seen in a long time.
