Ten days left to the marathon, so went out for my last serious training run last night. My legs were a bit stiff, but I managed to get a half marathon done. Had to stop at 23Km though as I could feel my hamstring tighten up.
The big difference this time was that it was a night and it’s been cold for the last couple of days. Was probably about 14-15 degrees. Praying for that weather next Saturday!
Well done Gary,
Good effort, sure you’ll be fine on the big day.
No doubt in fact.
That pace would give you a more than respectably marathon time, even allowing for some slowing down in the second half.
Go for it and enjoy!
Good luck tomorrow with the marathon Gary. I hope the weather isn’t too warm.
Look forward to hearing all about on the blog
Cheers
Gordon
Thanks! You have a pretty big day in front of you too today!!!
All the best and hope you have a great time!
