Just a quick update on what I did for my birthday. After work, I met Maria downtown and she took me off to the south east of the city and to a restaurant called ThaiBoat which neither of us had been to before. It looked really good, floating in the harbour with even it’s own palm trees and on-board beach!
The two of us sat at our table and I thought it was a little funny that the waiter gave us four menus. I looked out of the window and felt a tap on the shoulder and there was Emanuel and Linda which gave me such a surprise I nearly jumped overboard!
We had a great night and on the way home saw some Japanese drummers perform on a big open air stage outside the opera house. Surely this was especially for my birthday and not the Stockholm Culture Festival ?
Back home it was cake and pressies time!!! Enjoy the picture slideshow below!
