Tallinn

It was a couple of weeks ago now, but to finish of the celebration of my Mum’s birthday (and my Dad’s whose was just a fortnight before), we planned a wee suprise trip.

At half past 2 on the Wednesday afternoon, we gave them a card that said, “Pack your bags, you’ll be back on Friday morning”. Then we went on a bus and I don’t think they knew what was exactly going to happen, but they maybe got a bit of a clue when we went into a ferry terminal and there was lots of big signs saying “Boat to Tallinn”.

The cruise is quite a popular thing to do from Stockholm, basicaly you stay overnight on the boat and arrive in Tallinn at 10am, then you get back on the boat for 6pm.

We had it very lucky again with the weather in Tallinn, going through the medieval old town, eating at nice resteraunts and cafe’s and of coures drinking Estonian Honey Beer!

Lot’s of cocktails and dancing and actually really good food on the boat too…

Pictures next time I post, but now I’m off for a bit longer holiday… :)
