This weekend Maria and I went to Sigtuna, the oldest town in Sweden, for the wedding of our good friends Celeste and Henrik.
The wedding itself was in “Maria’s Church” (Mariakyrka), where a mixture of cultures and people from all over the world celebrated the fact that two people from opposite sides of the earth can get together and be happy.
We stayed over night at the reception venue which was called Sigtunastiftelsen (that’s easy for you to say…). We were really impressed by this place, especially because it was a sunny day and we could stand out in the garden with a glass of Champaigne, relaxing and chatting with friends.
The dinner at night was very nice, the food was good and the speeches were nice, especially Henrik’s Dad who got to litely make fun of his son. Surely that’s every fathers responsibility on his son’s wedding day!
C+H, all the best from me and Maria!
