Bit of a winters sports weekend for us…
On Saturday it was sunny but cold so we went down to St. Eriksplan and tried out our new ice skates for the first time.
Was pretty un-nerving with a mixture of learner drivers like me, toddlers out of control and a makeshift game of ice-hockey getting violent in one corner.
This was only the third time I had been skateing so needless to say, I fell on my bum.
It snowed heavily over night, so on Sunday we went for a walk down at Långholmen with some friends, walking on the ice of the frozen lake Mälaren and went to see the place where a Jas 39 Gripen aircraft crash landed during an air show over the city centre in 1993. With 100,000’s of people watching it was a miracle that no-one was killed.
Yeah dude, I’m feeling you! Weather is terrible here as well… like +8Celcius… meh I’m freezing!
