Remember and take your shoes off…

I’ve been slow at updating this blog for a while. It’s been because I’ve been working round the clock building a new product for a customer. Delivered it at 8am this morning so now back to normal-ish (pictures to come once it gets a final install. It’s cool).

Anywhooo, I was at a new restaurant on Saturday. It’s Stockholm’s best Hare Krishna themed restaurant…

It’s called Govindas at Fridhemsplan and it is a wee bit different. Firstly, the food is Indian Vegetarian based (as to be expected), the staff are all Hare Krishna volunteers (not the worlds fastest service :) We were actually rolling about laughing while waiting 20 minutes to get served because the staff were in a trance like state. They were actually very nice though) and there is a continuous loop of Hare Krishna chants playing over the sound system.

Also the tables are literally 5 inches off the ground and you have to take your shoes off and sit crossed legged on cushions on the floor. I have never been able to properly sit with my legs crossed, so I just lay down, starfish shaped, on the floor allowing people to trip over me. (there was proper tables downstairs, but wheres the fun in that?).
