The race to the bottom…

Things are getting interesting in the relegation race at the bottom of the Mini-league. I more or less have the whole competition wrapped up by Christmas, but for the small teams it’s a real battle…

Bloody hell. I can’t believe Neil has almost caught me. Are you sure that table is right????

Looks like i should give up predicting results as a bad idea!! Oh well back to the drawing board.

  2. Gary says:

Neil would say that it’s only because he has been on holiday so much that he isn’t winning. Think you need to get the predicting hat on, or he will be insufferable!

  3. Graeme says:

Stideon seems to have caught up suspiciously quickly. I think it may be time to introduce random drug testing for minileague competitors! :-)

  4. neil says:

Well, strange you should mention it, but on returning from an extended period of holiday (which itself had followed on from a number of weeks where I hadn’t entered predictions) I felt that I had given the other competitors enough of a head start.
According to statistics (which, lets face it, never lie) my scores so far in December put me in the top 1% of all competitors.
However, I do realise that the 3Gs may be upset if I run away with the mini-league and so I’m sure I may incorporate some strategic “off weeks” into the second half of the season – just to be sporting you understand! :-))

  5. Gary says:

Neil is the Kris Boyd of predicting…
He doesn’t do much, but when he does something, it works…

  6. Gordon says:

The only problem with that analogy is that Neil actually does run. Where as Boyd does not!!!

I also agree with PC Stein. Given the recent performance improvements random drug testing should be introduced.

  7. Gary says:

    OK, I agree.

I suggest we get Stein of the Yard and Broon of the Bailey on the case straight away…
