Midsommar at overjarvagard and then dinner with friends at skogsgas. Fantastic weather which called for some nice ice cream and schnaps!

Took Maria to the opera as her birthday present to see  Swedish dancers perform a Danish ballet about some Scottish people all dressed in kilts Was a great night.

And not because Sweden won the Eurovision song contest…

Nope, now we have an Ice Cream maker!

Strawberry and Banana flavours made yesterday!

Although I was in Scotland for the last week and a bit, my Mum and Dad came over here at the weekend to have a look at Maria’s belly

As they have been to Stockholm a few times and it wasn’t really great weather I decided to take us all on the ferry to Åland (Mariehamn) which is a Finnish territory, but where everyone speaks in Swedish and all signs are in Swedish etc.

Despite the cold weather we had a great time filled with tours around they boat building yard and a few visits to the local cafes. Brunch buffet on the boat was actually pretty good too!

(Have to also mention that on the Friday we went to Den Gyldene Freden for a special dinner as it might be the last posh place Maria and I get to go for a while, and the food was really interesting (in a good way)).

After a great trip out on the Loch Lomond last week, we decided to give Lithgae Loch a go and ended up with a good bag of rainbows, mostly on buzzers.
